Thanks to its dominant appearance in the 2011 season, Vettel back to being the favorite for this season. With the support of a nice car owned by Red Bull, the German racer was the favorite to win third world title.
“Sebastian is better and stronger than ever,” Mateschitz said in Autosport.
“He’s been preparing for winter break, as he had never done before, and he certainly will not disappoint us,” he added.
“What does he need to get the third degree is a competitive car and on the aspects that we will be able to evaluate in the first test in Jerez (in early February),” said Mateschitz.
When asked which team who will be the main rival this year’s Red Bull, Mateschitz said so.
“McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes. I think in this order,” he said.
