Great night for Liverpool

Kenny Dalglish could not hide his joy over the success of Liverpool qualify for the English League Cup final. For him this was a remarkable night for everyone in Liverpool.

The Reds sure ticket to the finals after a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Anfield on Thursday (1/26/2012) pm dawn, in the semifinal second leg match League Cup. The result left Liverpool winning 3-2 on aggregate after a 1-0 win in leg I.

The hosts had left earlier after City scored by Nigel De Jong. But Steven Gerrard put Liverpool equalized through the execution of the penalty five minutes before the break.

City could bring hope to escape after Edin Dzeko breaking goalkeeper Pepe Reina on 67 minutes. But Craig Bellamy then made sure ticket to the final to Liverpool over the tally seven minutes later.

Games that Daniel Agger et al demonstrated that makes Dalglish throws the compliment. He considered worthy Liverpool cruised into the final round.

“I think it is a very good performance. Although the match ended in a draw, we deserved to qualify for the finals,” said Dalglish on Sky Sports.

“The players incredible tonight and deserves praise, and everyone in the squad to help us to escape.”

Dalglish praised the game not only shown his players. The Liverpool manager was also grateful to the Liverpudlian who has always supported them.

“The fans are also remarkable and this is a gift for them and for the loyalty they show, so for everyone in Liverpool is a fantastic night,” he concluded.
