Dirk Kuyt admitted not satisfied with the amount of games he played this season. He hopes to get more involved in the match-important match of Liverpool, including against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
Kuyt has not scored a single golpun which is not always a top choice Kenny Dalglish. This season he appeared 12 times as a starter and seven times as a substitute.
“Obviously I’m not happy with the amount of action I’ve played this season,” said the Dutchman on the official club website.
“But I just want to get more involved, especially in important games and try to work hard and show myself in the game like that.”
Kuyt played since the beginning when Liverpool face City in the League Cup semi-final second leg on Thursday (1/26/2012) pm dawn ago. Now, after helping his team make sure ticket to the finals, Kuyt hopes Dalglish would play it again when Liverpool face Chelsea in FA Cup fourth round on Saturday (01/28/2012) local time.
“Hopefully I can get involved again in Saturday’s game because all players in the locker room can not wait for the next game,” he hoped.
“It’s good that we had two big games in one week and we all have to focus on the next game and we really wanted to win it,” said the player’s back numbered 18.
