Ranieri: Inter Less Sharply

Despite getting a lot of opportunities, Inter Milan failed to create a goal back in the match against Lecce. Claudio Ranieri assess his squad less sharp in attack.

A visit to the Via del Mare on Saturday (01/29/2012) night, Inter bent bent over Lecce with a final score of 0-1 thanks to goals from Guillermo Giacomazzi single in the 40th minute.

These results clearly surprising. Because throughout the game La Beneamata bombard the host defense but to no avail.

Statistics Soccernet noted, Inter get control of the ball as much as 64% by the number of 22 shots and six of them leads to the goal. While control of the ball with Lecce 34% just six shots and three of them on target.

“Today we were up against a great goalie and a team that survived very well,” said Inter coach, Claudio Ranieri told Italian Football.

“Then we felt too nervous and we were not sharp enough in the attack. We also hit the bar twice and had two goals disallowed, so we can not get out of a tough game,” he added.
